Tonight, the Moberly All-Stars will clash with the Centralia All-Stars in the highly anticipated opening game of the Moberly Softball Association Tournament semi-finals at Rothwell Park. The game is set to kick off at 8:15 PM, weather permitting.
Following this curtain-raiser, the second semi-final match will see Monroe City face off against the Centralia Brown Bombers, a formidable Negro team, at 9:30 PM. After two rain delays, the tournament is set to conclude tomorrow night with games determining the third place and championship titles.
Tonight’s victors will battle for first place and a prize of $50. The teams that fall short will compete for third place, with the runner-up receiving $20, third place taking home $15, and fourth place earning $10.
