The erection of the colored Baptist church on the above-named street (Elizabeth St.) is a testament to the dedication and spirit of its members. Indeed, the entire race should take pride in such a laudable enterprise, marking a significant development for the city of Moberly. This Sunday is designated as a $1 rally day, and the pastor urges each member to respond generously to the call. There will be preaching at 11 A.M. and at 2:30 P.M., welcoming all to join in this momentous occasion.
